Another tough loss for Redmen

PEDRO — The Rock Hill Redmen played another tough game at home. And Lady Luck didn’t sit on their side of the court.
The Redmen had a bad fourth quarter as they fell 59-50 to the Portsmouth Trojans in an Ohio Valley Conference game on Tuesday.
Portsmouth led 8-6 after the first quarter as Danny Lattimore hit a 3-pointer and scored five points. Kadin France had four points for the Redmen.
Rock Hill rallied to take a 27-26 lead as Logan Hankins hit a 3-pointer and scored 12 points. Garrett Miller hit a trey and France had four more points.
Miles Shipp scored six points, Matt Fraulini hit a 3-pointer and Lattimore had a 3-pointer and four foul shots.
The Trojans came back to take 42-41 lead after three quarters as Drew Roe hit a pair of 3-pointers, Lattimore scored four and Fraulini hit another triple and scored five points.
Miller hit a trey and scored five points, Owen Hankins had a 3-pointer and Jake Blagg added four points in the quarter.
In the fourth quarter, Logan Hankins and Miller hit 3-pointers, but the Redmen were just 1-of-8 from the foul line.
Lattimore hit another 3-pointer and scored 10 points and the Trojans were 8-of-12 at the foul line.
Logan Hankins scored 15 points, Miller 13 and France 10 for the Redmen (3-15, 0-11).
Lattimore had a game-high 26 points for the Trojans (7-11, 3-8).
On Friday, Rock Hill is at South Point.
